Night Owl's Ages 2 through PreK with a parent/caregiver
The goal of Maple Lake Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes is to support and strengthen families through connection, education, and resources. Parents are a child's first and most important teachers and we consider it a privilege to partner with families to provide the best possible environment for the healthy growth and development of the children in their care.
Our family activities are purposefully designed in the areas of social and emotional development, language and literacy development, cognitive development, and physical development.
In ECFE classes parents/caregivers and children enjoy playtime, learning experiences, songs, parent discussion and more! These classes are a time for your child to explore with different sensory opportunities, make a mess, and grow!
Non-Separating Class: Parents/caregivers and children remain in the early childhood classroom the entire class time. Parent discussion takes place in the room while the children play.
Parent & Child Time: During the first half of class parents/caregivers and children explore and play with activities that are intentionally designed to foster your child's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development.
Circle Time: Everyone joins together to enjoy music, movement activities, and stories.
