Description:
5th Grade Girls Traveling Basketball-
This is an opportunity to have your 5th grade student experience what basketball is like. In this program, players will practice twice a week and play in the Highway 55 Youth Basketball Traveling League. Game locations could include Paynesville, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, Kimball, Rocori, New London- Spicer, and Eden Valley- Watkins, more locations to be determined. Parental transportation is required to all practices and games!
Cost is $150
Cost includes an Irish Basketball shirt. PARENTS.... PLEASE UPDATE YOUR CHILDS T-SHIRT SIZE WHEN REGISTERING!!!! Must register before Wednesday, October 15th to be guaranteed a shirt.
Registration deadline: Wednesday, October 15th
Teams will be considered full when 12 kids are registered and have 1 coach. If a team is full, a wait list will form until another team can be made. Once the number of coaches are known, we will set the number of teams. There will be a maximum of 12 players per team. Once a team is filled, a waiting list will be created with hopes additional coaches will volunteer.
1 coach 12 players = 1 team. We would love to have 2 coaches per team, if you are interested in shared coaching responsibility, please let me know.
Practices:
Practice dates will vary depending on coach availability. Practices are (tentatively) set to begin the week of November 10th. We ask that parents (and other family members) refrain from being in the gym during practices.
Game plan:
Games on Saturdays, game and practice schedules will be set at beginning of November.
