Intro to 3D Printing
This 3D printing camp takes students through the 3D printing process from start to finish. Students will design their own keychains! One design will be printed offline and mailed home. No experience is necessary, but familiarity with doing common tasks using a computer and keyboarding is required. Fees listed include printing fee for one project. Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse, and keyboard.
Tech Academy's virtual camps feature engaging interactive instruction in a collaborative learning environment. For each session, students will also be given access to Tech Academy's online classroom, which will feature recordings of the lessons and a curriculum guide with all the steps covered in class, along with instructions for project extensions. To protect students’ privacy, Tech Academy does not share videos of the actual classes, but there will be follow-along recordings reviewing the instructions and activities done in class. Parents will be given the option to sign up on Tech Academy's classroom page for a reminder email and text before the class begins. Tech Academy will be using Zoom for all our classes.
