Intro to AI Coding
We will introduce kids to the fundamentals of coding and artificial intelligence through Scratch; a visual programming language designed for young learners. Students engage in hands-on projects and collaborative activities that build foundational coding skills while exploring how AI works in fun and creative ways.
Tech Academy's virtual camps feature engaging interactive instruction in a collaborative learning environment. For each session, students will also be given access to Tech Academy's online classroom, which will feature recordings of the lessons and a curriculum guide with all the steps covered in class, along with instructions for project extensions. To protect students’ privacy, Tech Academy does not share videos of the actual classes, but there will be follow-along recordings reviewing the instructions and activities done in class. Parents will be given the option to sign up on Tech Academy's classroom page for a reminder email and text before the class begins. Tech Academy will be using Zoom for all our classes.
