Babysitting 101
This course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics – Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training (BLAST). Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit..
Who: boys and girls ages 9 and older.
When: Thursday July 28
Where: Maple Lake Elementary Media Center
Time: 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM (Students attending Babysitting 101 are eligible to eat school breakfast AND lunch for FREE on the day of the class- If eating breakfast please arrive by 8:00 AM to eat, then head to class before 8:30. Students will have a lunch break and can head to the cafeteria to eat lunch, then go back to the media center for the remainder of the class.)
Cost: $70.00
PLEASE pick your child up promptly at 4:00 in front of the elementary school doors, or if going to Kidville please indicate that on the registration form under comments.
