Description:

Babysitting 101 
This course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics – Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training (BLAST). Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit..

Who: boys and girls ages 9 and older. 
When: Thursday July 20
Where: Maple Lake Elementary Media Center
Time: 8:30 AM- 4:00 PM
Cost: $75.00

Students will have a lunch break and can head to the elementary cafeteria to eat, then go back to the media center for the remainder of the class. No food can be eaten in the media center. Please send your child with a refillable water bottle also. 
 
PLEASE pick your child up promptly at 4:00 in front of the elementary school doors, or if going to Kidville please indicate that on the registration form under "comments"

Please have your child bring a snack and a beverage to eat at break time. Please provide a 'nut free' snack.
